Avalanche Centers To Remain Open During Government Shutdown

Considered “essential staff for safety”, avalanche centers across the country will continue operation through the government shutdown. Daily avalanche safety reports and field observation will not be effected so please use your local avalanche center’s resources if you plan on heading into the backcountry.
