A storm will arrive tonight in the Tetons and NOAA is forecasting upwards of a foot of new snow at higher elevations.

The snow should fall the heaviest after 10pm and since the low tonight is only 24°F, conditions should be high quality for all those in line for first Tram/Chair tomorrow morning.

Light snow today will become steadier and heaver tonight and continue into Wednesday morning before becoming lighter and more intermittent Wednesday afternoon.

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO NOON MST WEDNESDAY…

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches expected. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains.

* WHEN…From 5 PM this afternoon to noon MST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
