Authorities have called off active search efforts in regards to missing Airforce cadet, Micah Tice of Las Vegas, NV. The 20 year-old Tice went missing while hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park on November 24 reports The Coloradoan.

Witnesses last saw Tice on the morning of Nov. 24th. They later told authorities that the man in question appeared ill-prepared to be hiking in such conditions.

“Tice was reported to be wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, a black hat, black lightweight gloves, tennis shoes and a light blue backpack.  The visitors discouraged Tice to continue to the summit due to his clothing, footwear and weather conditions.”RMNP Press Release

The Air Force cadet is the second person who remains missing in the National Park as winter approaches. 30 year-old Ryan Albert went missing back on October 5th and has not been heard from since. Search and Rescue officials indicated that search efforts won’t likely resume on either person until sometime this spring.
