“Coronet Peak is extending the 2018 season to 7th October! This one’s for you Queenstown. We have the snow, heard your voices, now we’re making it happen so come up and take advantage!”

Big news for Kiwi skiers as Coronet Peak will continue to operate into the month of October after a series of late season storms brought new snow to the mountain.

Following this weekend, Coronet Peak will shut down on Monday to allow staff to catch their collective breath before the extended week of operations. The final day of operations will be this Sunday, October 7th.

Coronet Peak will operate 3 chairlifts during the extended portion of the season. And with heavy snow in the forecast Saturday night, Sunday could be epic.
