It’s a little confusing, but there are actually two Farmers Almanacs. There is the Old Farmers Almanac, first issue in 1792, and then their is the Farmers Almanac, first issue in 1818. The two publications both use secret formulas to come up with their famous winter weather predictions, but this year they have very different forecasts.
