WATCH: This Motorcycle Save Is Straight Out Of A Movie

“The first thing I was thinking of was to open the gas and stand up on the pegs. The landing was so heavy, my rear suspension went down to its maximum. It even activated my leathers’ airbag.”

Unbelievable save by motorcycle racer Jakub Kornfeil going into the the final lap of the Moto3 French Grand Prix at Le Mans. Somehow the 25 year old Czech managed to launch off the bike that crashed in front of him, stuck the landing and finished the race. Race commentators had this to say about the sequence:

“What have we just seen?! … Evel Knievel has got nothing on Jakub Kornfeil, I’ll tell you that. 10 out of 10 for the landing!”
