Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry confirmed crews are set to resume the search for a Columbia Falls doctor went missing in February. NBC Montana reports 62 year old Dr. Jonathan Torgerson was last seen into the backcountry alone and disappeared while skiing out-of-bounds near Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Just when the doctor went missing a massive storm moved through the area stifling search and rescue operations. Sheriff Curry said teams on the ground and in the air have found no signs of him since.

The search for Dr. Torgerson will resume this weekend pending conditions. The Flathead County Search and Rescue manager is monitoring the snow recession and is making sure conditions are firming up enough to search safely.
