Online retailer Backcountry.com has announced plans for a year-long rollout of it’s very own line of apparel and gear. The new line will be known simply as: Backcountry.

The company held a media event at their HQ in Park City to announce the new offering by the company. Backcountry labeled goods will range from seasonal apparel to camping, mountain bike, and even ski touring gear. Some of this gear will be in collaboration with outdoor brands while other products will be created independently inhouse.

At the media event they announced collaborations with Flylow, Smartwool, Black Diamond, and DPS Skis.

Since the companies formation in 1996, Backcountry has never collaborated with other brands this extensively before, and it has never before produced its own in-house gear line.

The rollout begins April 3 with a lifestyle collection; camping gear, duffels, and mountain bike apparel in summer; and a touring collection this fall.
