ESPN Hosts Contest To Determine Best Inbounds Terrain in North America

YouTube Poster

Its a ski bum argument as old as time “Which ski resort is the most badass?” and now ESPN is putting on a contest to determine the answer. The first ever X Games Real Mountain video contest format is as follows: Seven edits from North American ski resorts exclusively featuring resort-sponsored athletes who actually ride the resorts and don’t just lend their name brand recognition for a pay check. The seven contenders are Aspen Snowmass, Jackson Hole, Mammoth, Snowbird, Squaw/Alpine, Revelstoke, and Whistler.  Its a fan vote only contest so make sure to VOTE HERE.

“Welcome to the first-ever X Games Real Mountain video contest. Here’s how it works: Seven of North America’s best big mountain ski resorts are facing off in a battle to determine who has the best inbounds terrain. All of the footage in these videos was shot over the 2016/17 winter season and exclusively features resort-sponsored athletes who ski and ride each resort on a regular basis. Only natural terrain features were allowed (no snowcat-made kickers), and all footage is of places you can get to from the top of a lift.

This is a fan-vote only contest, winner take all. Only one vote per browser in a 24-hour period is allowed, so be sure to come back regularly to show your support for your favorite resort/video. Voting ends at 9 a.m. PT on Monday, November 13. The winner will be announced at 12 p.m. PT. The resort with the most votes when the dust settles will receive an X Games gold medal. May the best video win!”
