English skier Graham Bell is the fastest human on earth to be towed behind a car. Bell set the new world record, 117.5 MPH, with some help from Jaguar. The record speed was set in temperatures of -28C at Jaguar’s Arctic Test Centre in Arjeplog, Sweden.

Bell is no hack when it comes to skiing fast. He competed in five Winter Olympics’ across his impressive career. However, the official ‘fastest man on skis’ remains Ivan Origone, the Italian who hit a speed of 158.4mph downhill in 2016. Will a towed skier surpass the downhill speed record this decade? We’ll just have to wait and see.
