Pretty cool little story about a kid trying to earn his Eagle Scout status by teaming up with Deer Valley to build four birdhouses for swallows and two nesting platforms for ospreys.

During the winter the water-holding basin is used for snow-making operations but Anthony Bartholomew, who manages the lodges at Deer Valley, saw potential for it to become a bird hotspot in the summer months. Thats were Eagle Scout candidate Brian Keller and his top notch team of Millcreek Boy Scouts come in.

Love seeing the resorts trying to support local wildlife and its a beautiful thing when the kids can get involved. Cheers to Brian, The Millcreek Boy Scouts and Deer Valley!
