“He said he was having a really rough day and needed to vent.”
Professional cyclist, Danny Summerhill, has left UnitedHealthcare Team and has been charged with firing a gun during a ride through residential area in Deer Creek Canyon, Colorado.
Summerhill plead not guilty to the charges stemming from the February 2016 incident where he was identified by a witness because he was wearing his team jersey. Summerhill was issued a citation by Jefferson County Deputies but locals are upset he wasn’t charged with a more serious offense.
