Meet 12 year old climber Tyler Armstrong. This kid’s dream is to climb “The Seven Summits”, the highest mountain on each continent. So far he has Aconcagua in South America (22,841′), Mount Elbrus in Europe (18,510′) and Kilimanjaro in Africa (19,341′).  He was denied the necessary permit to climb Everest (29,029′) due to his age and is currently prepping to climb Denali (20,310′).

While we support kids getting after it, how young is too young to enter the death zone (26,247 feet).  This kid is undoubtedly accomplished, but at a certain point precociousness and high level mountaineering become at odds.
