42-year-old Austrian Markus ‘Max’ Stöckl headed down to Chile’s Atacama Desert on the country’s Pacific Coast with his six-man support team to break his own record for top speed on a mountain bike that was set back in 2011 bombing down volcanic cone of Cerro Negro in Nicaragua at 164.95kph. Stöckl bested himself with a max speed of 167kph, cementing his position as the fastest man in MTB.  Can anyone explain why speed suits are always red?
