Glad to hear no one was trapped in this roof collapse of the Ten Mile Room of the Village Hotel in Breck. There was a small gas leak caused by the collapse but it was isolated by firefighters.
Hotel spokeswoman Kim Dykstra told Denver 7 that 70 rooms in nearby buildings were evacuated as a precautionary measure and that guests were relocated.
This type of monumental snow event can lead to unexpected dangers, so be careful, be aware and look after one another.
