“The feeling of power, pushing and twisting into your back. Its so addicting.”

Santa Cruz, California inventor and flight instructor Samm Sheperd
debuted his Propeller Backpack on youtube yesterday.  The jerry rigged propulsion system is pretty basic. Just a 50cc motor, a propeller and a battery. The assembly is made out of scrap wood and attached to a backpack controlled by a RC style handheld. Looks like a ton of fun and way more realistically attainable that some of the rocket skiing setups we have seen in the past. Would love to give this thing a “whirl.”
