The California Ski Industry Association (CSIA) Releases Sustainability Report & Launches “Ski Green” Campaign

The California Ski Industry Association just released their 2016 Sustainability Report and California skiers and riders have a lot to celebrate.

The results show how sustainability practices have created real-time, visible results in the Tahoe community and beyond. The results are providing a framework for other environmental advocacy groups across the nation that include using high-efficiency snowmaking guns, effectively mobilizing volunteers, and resorting landscape damaged by human intervention.

“For many years, ski resorts have methodically made significant changes in their operations and made important investments designed to create a more sustainable operation and to protect the environment. It is now time to highlight these cumulative improvements, and commit to more in the future.” – CSIA President Michael Reitzell
