Started as a family friendly pass for people on the east coast, the Freedom Pass has grown by leaps and bounds over the past two years and now includes 13 mountains from Vermont to Alaska.

The Freedom Pass is included with a purchase of a season pass at any of the participating resorts, granting its holders access to three complimentary lift tickets at 12 other ski areas. There are no blackout dates and the $50 upgrade charge has been lowered to meet the financial demands of their skiing population.

The pass is unique in that it offers families to opportunity to explore other homegrown ski areas in the northeast and beyond without through-the-roof lodging costs associated with other destination ski areas.
