Sexist Toyota Banner At Australian Resort Removed After Upsetting Skiers

“I am insulted and shocked at this type of advertising, that suggests that women are only capable of doing the intermediate run, while men can do the harder ones.” -Angry Mom

Some skiers and snowboarders at Thredbo Resort in Australia were quite offended by a sexist advertising banner placed on a railing at the bottom of a chairlift to promote the Toyota Kluger. The banner implied that children were best fit for green runs, women on blues and men on blacks.
Romy Krassenstein had this to say about the banner when she spoke to news.au:
“It’s just like come on, be more creative. Did Toyota really spend $100,000 on that campaign to offend women? Like seriously, haven’t we moved past this?”
A spokeswoman from Toyota insisted the ad was not meant to be sexist, although it has since been removed. Some have taken to social media with revisions to let Toyota and Thredbo know how they feel:

This is the Toyota Kluger they were trying to promote, not a bad looking car:
Tis Tis Thredbo and Toyota, you should know better than to imply the ladies can’t shred just as hard as the boys.
