Looks like Flea jinxed himself pretty bad right before he shattered his arm on a fancy Montana ski trip with bandmate Anthony Kiedis and Metallica drummer Ulrich. In a Rolling Stone article he admits to jokingly wanting Lars to take a picture of him lying in the snow and pretend to be mangled with a broken leg and send it to their mutual manager. It was about “40 seconds” later that lost control going full speed shattering his arm in 5 places. Gnarly story. Glad he’s all healed up and laying down the funk.
