When it comes to corporate snowboarding scapegoating, Shaun White has a target on his back, quite possibly because he actually has a Target logo on his back, but at the end of the day the way he boosts out of the pipe is what got him to where he is and his amplitude and style are undeniable. You may not like him in interviews and disagree with his clothing style or his musical pursuits but if you aren’t objectively appreciative of his pipe riding you are too far gone.
This run put him in the top qualifying position at the men’s halfpipe finals at the 2016 Burton US Open. We will be sure to update as more results come in.
