The body of a missing 25-year-old snowboarder, Logan Salviano, was found at Vail ski resort on Thursday. The vail resident had been missing since Tuesday.

Logan’s body was discovered in a tree well off an expert run on the front side of the mountain by the Vail ski patrol.  He was pronounced dead by the Eagle County Coroner’s Office reports the Vail Daily.

“You could see Chairs 3 and 4 from where he was. We don’t know his cause of death at this time … he is being autopsied this week.” – Vail coroner Kara Bettis

It’s unknown what Logan’s cause of death was, but a Sheriff’s spokesperson, Jessie Mosher told the Vail Daily, “We ruled it was non criminal.”

Our deepest condolences to Logan’s family and friends. page has been set up to help with Salviano’s funeral costs.

“On January 7, 2016 my cousin, Logan Salviano, was tragically killed in a snowboarding accident in Vail, Colorado. Logan was a kind and gentle soul who did the “right things” in life. He graduated from college and worked while traveling the states having fun and enjoying life. He was a caring and sensitive brother, son, and person. I would like to support my uncle by raising funds to offset the exorbitant funeral costs. Please help if you can. Thank you in advance.”
