According to Accuweather, Canada is in store for an unseasonably warm winter thanks to El Niño. In fact, Accuweather models are forecasting one of the warmest winters on record for our northern neighbor with the exception of Eastern Canada, which looks to have a snowy winter (look out for the Chic-Chocs!).

“Western Canada residents should expect another winter with above- to well above-normal temperatures, as a prevailing westerly flow delivers milder Pacific air across the region.”–Accuweather
That said, forecasters are predicting more snow than the previous year in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, including Whistler Blackcomb, albeit with warmer temperatures framing that precipitation. Basically, while the valley might suffer from rain, the high peaks have odds of receiving more snowfall than the past year.
“Compared to last winter, there will be more snow across the coastal mountains of western British Columbia, which includes the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort, host of the 2010 Winter Olympics.”– Accuweather
That said, the model is predicting and exceptionally dry and mild winter for interior British Columbia as well as the mountains around Banff.
