The body of a skier, who went missing during a ski trip to Europe 35 years ago, has been found.

Gregory Barnes was 24-year-old when he disappeared in 1980 while skiing in the Italian and Swiss Alps.

Italian authorities have said that a hotter-than-normal summer caused glacial melt that uncovered the remains. He was found in a crevasse, along with his passport that confirmed his identity.
