A new world record cliff jump is now in the books.

After a 193 ft. jump off the Cascata del Salto waterfall in the Ticino area of Switzerland, Laso Schaller just put his name down in the history books.

Schaller, who is most known for his vast portfolio of canyoneering first descents also retains a love for jumping into the canyons he likes to travel through. He is known to have jumped up to 50m prior to this jump but at 58.8m…

This one was for the win.

Now he has the world record in his pocket and places his name next to legendary daredevils such as Evil Knievel. However, how long will the record last?

Bravo Laso! Bravo!
