People Have Been Riding This Standing Wave In Munich, Germany Since The Early 1970’s

Cool little edit of the most famous urban standing wave in the world. Surfing on the Eisbach River in Munich, Germany has been documented as far back as the mid 70’s and is must for any ocean bound surfer passing through.

This is that the this spanish speaking crew had to say about the experience…

“Tres tablas de surf. Un Opel Corsa del 97. Mucho flow y poco cash. Así es el viaje del ciruelo por Europa.”

English translation:

“Three surfboards. An Ospel Corsa 97. Much flow little cash. This is the journey plum Europe.”

….Much Flow Little Cash. Beautiful.
