Circa 2006

In the fall of 2006 UnofficialSquaw.com went live. It was the brain child of two brothers, Tim and John Konrad. The idea was to provide more accrue snow reports and daily stoke from Squaw Valley USA.

Circa 2007

By 2007 the site had gained some modest traction. The Konrad brothers were determined to push on despite mounting debt.

After many hard lessons UnofficialSquaw.com started to gain some momentum.

Circa 2009

In January of 2009 UnofficialSquaw.com landed it’s first investor. The funding allowed Tim Konrad to quit his day job and work full time on the site.

 Our new funding allowed us to buy a POV cam. Hooray! 

 

Circa 2010

At the start of the 2009/2010 season, UnofficialSquaw.com was repackaged with the launch a new website. The site looked nice but had some fundamental flaws.

Circa 2011

On December 10, 2010 UnofficialNetworks.com went live. The new site took the model which had been developed in Squaw Valley and brought it to the resorts of Whistler, Snowbird, Stowe, Telluride, and Jackson Hole.

G.N.A.R. is released

Circa 2012

Today, UnofficialNetworks.com is the World’s Most Visited Ski Blog.
