A ‘Zeer Pot’ is an ancient device that takes advantage of evaporative cooling. Using nothing more than a couple pots, sand, water and a towel you can make a mini fridge capable of keeping your goods cold just about anywhere.
Essentially, the water evaporating between the 2 pots draws the heat out of the inner pot and creates a nice little refreshment zone that will keep you happy on a hot day.
Things You’ll Need:
– Two pots, or cans, or boxes that will hold water. One larger than the other.
– Sand
– Water
– Cloth to cover the pots
Sounds too easy but it works really well, so go buy a couple pots to add to your camping supplies and blow your friends minds this summer.
