Utah’s ‘Mountain Man’ who’s been breaking into cabins in Southern Utah for more than a decade has finally been captured. During the arrest Knapp did fire a gun a police helicopter that was hovering overhead. Nobody was hurt.

- Captured: Near Ferron Reservoir area in Sanpete County, not far from Zion National Park.
- On The Run: Since 2000
- Wanted For: 30 burglaries in Utah, 13 felonies and 5 misdemeanors
- Downfall: Bragged to a group of antler hunters that he was the elusive “mountain man” fugitive who’s been breaking into southern Utah cabins and on the run from police for more than a decade.
