More info on the powder pass from coppercolorado.com

When is my Snow Day Pass valid?

On any day that the official Copper snow report is 4” or more.  A snow day will be reported on Coppercolorado.com at 5:30 am based on the previous 24hour period. In addition, Copper is offering two guaranteed days on Superbowl Sunday (2/3/13) & Closing Day (4/14/13); snowfall or sunshine.

How will I know if it has snowed enough to be a qualifying Snowday at Copper Mountain?

Do I qualify for any discounts if I want to ski at Copper on a day that is not a 4″ Snowday?

Snow Day Passholders will receive the option to purchase two Friends & Family lift tickets starting at $69. You may use them yourself on a non-qualifying day, or give them to a friends or family member. Simply flash your Snow Day Pass at the ticket window on the day that you would like to redeem one of your Friends & Family lift tickets. More information on Friend and Family tickets here

If I had a Snow Day pass last year, will I need to get a new one?

Yes, you will need to stop by guest services to get a new Snow Day Pass printed at Guest Services; all 2011-2012 passes have been deactivated.

Do I qualify for any other perks or discounts at Copper Mountain?

At this time, there are no additional discounts. However, you can Sign Up to Receive Email Messages about events & special offers.

Does my Snow Day Pass give me any benefits at Winter Park, Steamboat or any other resort?

Sadly, no.

I already purchased an RMSP/RMSP+/Copper season pass or 4-Pack, if I purchase the Snowday Pass, will my previous pass be returned?

There are no refunds on previously purchased passes. If you already purchased a Copper 4Pack, you can ski on your Snow Day Pass on a snow day and your 4Pack on four other days during the season. Our magic scanning machine will know the difference and make sure your 4Pack is not used on a Snow Day.

What happens if it doesn’t snow?

Why would you think such negative thoughts? Brother Nature is our friend; what if it snows every day? Plus, you are guaranteed at least two snow days Superbowl Sunday (2/3/13) & Closing Day (4/14/13) & 2 friends and family tickets you can use any day!

What? The Denver post published 4 or more inches?

The official snow report is at Coppercolorado.com. No other snow reports are valid.

How many Snow Days does Copper get, on average?

Copper averages 30 Snow Days per season. Think about it this way: that’s just $3.30/day with the Snow Day Pass!

What if I forget my pass at home in my rush to get to Copper on a Snow Day?

You will need to visit Guest Services or Ticket Windows with valid photo ID to receive a Forgot Pass for the day. After the first time you will be charged $20 to have your pass reprinted.
