We are almost half way through the 2012 – 2013 ski season and Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska has only received 392″ of snow. At this rate the resort will end the season with a measly 632″ of snowfall. Thats about 29 feet less than what they received last season.
So when your complaining about the lack of snow where ever you are, think of the poor skiers up in Alaska who will be hard press to even hit their seasonal average.
