Alyeska‘s Tram is still down following a harsh crash into a tram tower on New Year’s Eve that left three employees and two guests stranded for more than 5 hours. The resort is now working with specialists to repair the tram which could take as long as a couple of weeks.
Currently officials say they would like to open both the restaurant and the tramway before the season is over.
