Earlier today, a wet slide Avalanche  rumbled down Mont Blanc killing 9 climbers and injuring 11 more. Official reports have stated that the victims of the avalanche, that struck in the Alps outside of Chamonix, France are from Britain, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. It is believed that 28 climbers were roped together in several groups and had all reached 4,000m (13,120 ft) when the avalanche struck.
