Little Cloud is going away
www.snowbird.com

Now that Snowbird is closed and the cat crews are hard at work making road cuts in the remaining snow, Snowbird is looking for someone to buy the Little Cloud Chairlift.  Little Cloud will soon be helicoptered away to allow construction of the newly purchased Little Cloud high speed quad.  If you act quickly enough maybe the helicopter can just load it into your pick-up truck for you.  That is if you shell out $200,000 first.

Just a cool photo of lift construction.

If Snowbird can’t find a buyer for the whole lift, they plan to individually sell off the chairs with proceeds benefiting Wasatch Adaptive Sports.  If you want to own one of the Little Cloud chairs, sorry, they have all been spoken for unless someone buys the lift.  Tell me about it, I wasn’t asked if I wanted one!  I imagine the 7-Summits Club members (15k+ per year pass)  where given first choice along with executives and other big-wigs.

Can't wait to ski this in 3 minutes instead of 9 minutes.

I think though with the value of scrap metal someone could purchase the whole lift and make a profit.  There are well over 100 chairs on the lift and I’m sure with proper marketing some of the numbers could fetch big bucks and then sell the cable and towers for scrap.  Or keep it all to yourself and install it at Wolf Creek Ski Resort when you buy that too.
