You got to hand it to Squaw Valley today. Not only did they open at 9am they got upper mountain and all the major chairs (except for Silverado) OPEN before 10AM. BIG Thank You to Patrol, the Lifts, Mike Livak and everyone who made this happen!
Conditions were killer with 15-23 inches of new snow. It appears that most bay area skiers have hung their skis up for the season. Yesterday (VIDEO FROM YESTERDAY AT SQUAW) and today was for the most part a locals only affair.
