Alyeska ski resort in Girdwood, Alaska has already broken the 500-inch mark for the 2011/12 winter season.  It’s only the beginning of February…

They got over 40 inches last week and that pushed them to a 532 inch snowfall total for the year.

Alyeska is going off this year.  You can basically go up there and get pow no matter what this year.  So, what are you waiting for?  If there was ever a year to travel to ski and ride, it’s this year.  Right now.
