Good morning skiers and riders. Its not a powder day in the boat. We have had no new snow in the last 2 weeks but there is man-made-machine-packed ice. It would probably be a better idea to bring the ice skates! Today we will be riding on 121 trails, 15 different lifts. 67 trails are groomed.
With a bad year with snow, the park is the place to be. The cold temperatures in the last two months were awesome for making snow. This is one of the best early season parks Steamboat has ever had! This edit is from the last week spent in the park…
Due to high winds on Saturday, there is now even less snow on storm face. If you are coming down the mtn via BC ski way…. Beware! Rocks the size of softballs, grass, and icy spots may be encountered!
