Foam Pit

Foam Pit

Words and Images: Klyer Roush

If you’re anything like me, you are getting sick and tired of skiing groomers. With the lack of huckable cliffs at the moment, you might be looking to get an “Airborne” fix.  Airborne is a Trampoline facility located just off I-15 in Draper, UT. They have over 75 trampolines that are all connected to form 10,000 feet of jumpable surfaces.

The biggest arena has over 40 trampolines with a couple of resting platforms and 45-degree wall trampolines.

Another one of their arenas is a 15″x30″ foam pit. Leading into it is 2 separate tramps to practice your aerials safely.

Trampolines

Airborne isn’t just for the big kids. They also have a smaller arena dedicated to small children so they don’t get popcorned around.

The 4th arena is about half the size of the main arena and has foam dodge balls in it.

Pricing

-$10 for an hour of jumping

-$8 for an additional hour

In order to jump you must sign a waiver (that lasts a year) and take off your shoes. I personally recommend going barefoot for optimal traction on the tramps. The facility opened in January of 2011 and is very nice on the inside.

Hours of Operation:

-Monday – Thursday 2pm to 10pm

-Friday 12pm to Midnight

-Saturday 10am to Midnight

-Closed on Sundays

BIG CHANGES will be happen at Airborne starting in the New Year.
