The Snow Gods Ball is tonight in Squaw Valley.  There will be $3.00 Drink Specials, live music, a raffle, and dancing.

Squaw Valley Ski Patrol is hosting the 20th Annual Snow Gods Ball on the evening of Saturday, December 17. Proceeds from the Snow Gods Ball allow Squaw Valley Ski Patrol to grant scholarships to community members for avalanche education. Open to the public, the Snow Gods Ball is set to take place at Bar One in Squaw Valley’s Olympic House. The doors open at 8 p.m. and the music starts at 9 p.m. All party goers must be 21 or older to attend.

This year’s ball features live music with Love Fool, the region’s favorite 90’s cover band. The Snow Gods Ball raffle prizes include a Gold Season Pass to Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, a seat on a snowcat ski trip with Pacific Crest Snowcats, Armada skis, a guided ski trip with California Alpine Guides, gift certificates to Java Sushi in Truckee, avi gear from Ortovox and Backcountry Access and other great prizes and gift certificates donated by a list of incredible sponsors.

Snow Gods Ball headlining act, Love Fool, is the Bay Area’s newest and brightest 80′s/90′s cover band. Designed by Tainted Love’s band leader, Love Fool plays the best hits of the 80’s and 90’s with all the energy and style of those beloved decades.
