Wanna see something crazy? YES, I am talking about spandex-clad people, occasionally stacked on each other, moving 105Km/hr (65MPH) down a small slippery and squiggly halfpipe! Come to Whistler Sliding Centre today and tomorrow (Dec. 9 & 10) to see the FIL Luge World Cup. This video isn't from today's competition or from the track at the Whistler Sliding Centre, but it may give you some idea of how it feels to be the athlete. Come to Whistler Sliding Centre today and tomorrow (Dec. 9 & 10) to see the FIL Luge World Cup. This video isn’t from today’s competition or from the track at the Whistler Sliding Centre, but it may give you some idea of how it feels to be the athlete. The inside of a luge course probably looks pretty similar no matter where it is anyway.
