Back in 2007 Will Ferrell and Adam McKay (who directed Anchor Man, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers and The Other Guys) founded an online web program called Funny Or Die that features original sketch comedy generated by known actors/comedians as well as chosen material by the general public.  HBO eventually picked it up and the second season comes out in January.
