40-year-old Eaton Mountain Ski Resort owner David Beers was accidentally run over by a snow cat on Sunday.

David was fixing one of the 18,000-pound snow cat’s tracks with two employees when the cat somehow slipped into gear and ran him over.  One of the guys helping him with the cat was in the cab at the time of the accident but doesn’t know what happened that caused the cat to move forward.

LifeFlight took David to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bagor.  A broken jaw and a dislocated ankle turned out to be his worst injuries.

Get well soon, David.
