A major focus of the “Squaw Renaissance” has always been culinary delights. With that in mind, I think Squaw hit two homers with locals by:
A: expanding Wildflour so that it’ll not only have baked good as before, but now also have expanded breakfast and sandwich menus &
B: getting Full Belly Deli to open a location in Squaw (Full Belly is hands down the best Deli in Lake Tahoe but its obscure location in a business park in a part of Truckee makes it tough to get to for many).
In addition to those two “new” shops, Squaw’s base will also have some big time stores like: Oakley & The North Face along with some hi-rollin’ shops like Farrah Rale Jewelry Design.
9 NEW SHOPS AT SQUAW:
– Fully Belly Deli
– Wildflour (not new, but a new shop and bigger)
– Batch Cupcakery (fancy cupcakes and the like)
– Euro Sweet (specialization of Euro Snack which was once more famously called “Le Waf”)
– Euro Crepe (another specialization of “Le Waf”)
– Oakley concept store
– Salomon concept store
– The North Face concept store
– Farrah Rale Jewelry Design
If you spend $500 in the Village, you’ll get a free lift ticket from Squaw. Whatta deal.
