No need to go see the Warren Miller movie any longer!  We’ve got the whole (we think) Squaw Valley segment for you right here.  It’s pretty fun, captures some of the vibe, but really doesn’t have the exciting stuff we were hoping for.  Very little cliff jumping, no Palisades, & no tricks at all is not gonna satisfy the Squaw crowd (we’re hoping that stuff is in another part of the movie?).  We know that they had early ups on some pretty killer days up on Granite Chief , Silverado, as well as on the Palisades.

“JT, Tim, & Michelle are heirs to a Squaw legacy passed down by Tom [Day], Scot Schmidt, & Robbie Huntoon.  Those guys were heirs to a legacy held by Wayne Wong, & the original hot-doggers.  But none of them had ever seen an 800 inch winter in LakeTahoe…until this year.” -Warren Miller Entertainment

Big props to Michelle Parker, Timy Dutton, & JT Holmes for representing Squaw.  We saw them do some killer stuff live, but maybe Warren Miller Entertainment edits that stuff out?

How much do you think KSL paid Warren Miller to shoot at Squaw this year?  We heard around $40,000.
