Colorado is winning…by a lot.  14” of fresh snow on October 26th and Loveland and A-Basin are straight up Open everyday for the rest of the season.  Imagine if your home resort was already open.  You’d be crazy strong by the time the real snow came and you’ll be crushing us commoners with our closed ski resorts once we get on the hill.
