This November SnowBomb will bring another lively weekend of top-notch winter focussed events to the Bay Area. Festival founder Jim McAlpine shared, “Our Ski-Wine-Board-Brew festival is the premier attraction leading up to the winter season.” He continued, “Five years ago we set out to revolutionize the customer experience at tired, old ski expos and today we’re thrilled to announce the concept keeps getting better.”
For the past few years the Ski-Wine-Board-Brew Fest has been a well received event by most all attendees. This year Teton Gravity Research (TGR) and Matchstick Productions (MSP) will also be onboard to host ski movies at both the San Francisco and Silicon Valley events. Attendees will get to watch TGR’s “One for the Road” and MSP’s “Attack of La Nina” the night prior to each day of the festival.
If you really want to get the most out of the festival, a VIP ticket option costing $40 will allow you to access to more than 150 wineries and breweries that will get you tastes of their best offerings. What’s even cooler is every ticket to the event also comes with three free lift tickets!!! How can you loose? The tickets will be available for skiing and riding at Bear Valley, Dodge Ridge, and China Peak Resort. Of course your ticket also grants you access to peep over 20,000 square-feet of the newest winter gear, from more than 100 exhibitors, which you can purchase at 30 to 70 percent off retail prices!
The Festival’s new Director of Operations is Justin Broglio. He was quoted saying, “This year we’ve brought back more than 20 world-class resorts including Squaw, Whistler, Jackson Hole, Mammoth, Sun Valley, Big Sky and many more.” “And we’ve got all our favorite Lake Tahoe resorts in attendance alongside industry leading brands such as Salomon, Rossignol, K2 Skis, The North Face and Dynastar.”
The San Francisco portion of the festival will start at 11 a.m. and run until 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 5th, and then continue from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 6th. The event will be held at the historic Fort Mason Center’s Festival Pavilion in the Marina District.
