Just Ski It Webisode 3: US Ski Team's Downhill and Super G Training in Portillo, Chile

US Ski Team’s Downhill and Super G squad preparing for the upcoming race season in Portillo, Chile. A training camp it may be, but these guys are all skiers and love being in the mountains, sliding on snow and mostly just having fun! Isn’t that what skiing is really all about! As a racer I get to see other teams up close and its true there is way to much seriousness in our sport, but that holds true mostly for the Euros! Through these series of webisode’s I want to try and show how amazing downhill skiing is with its high speeds, huge jumps, crazy courses, the occasional crash, and its amazing victories, all the while showing how much fun we have traveling and skiing all over the world! Through guys like Shane McConkey and the Gaffney brothers as well as the crew at Unofficial, I am constantly reminded that life is super fun and we should push ourselves on snow while also keeping the fun factor high!!!!! That right there is the GNAR philosophy right?! Skiing is just super fun!
