Animus is a new French ski movie from PVS Company and was produced by Antoine Frioux and David Lacote. Although this trailer has bunch of awesome ski shots there is this odd horror movie theme in it that comes a little bit from left field, while at the same time the overly profound text makes the attempted kitsch no more than mediocre. It seems they went with what they thought would look cool, but it ends up disjointed and forced. It doesn’t look like these filmmakers learned anything from Godard or Berri. The Great skiing though.
