The guys over at Point of Release were kind enough to send us this short video of floating Flat Creek. Thanks to the all time snowpack and the cool, wet spring, creeks and rivers are still running pretty high. Like any good tube, flat creek is mostly casual with some moments that can get pretty intense if you’re not paying attention. There’s a couple down trees along the way, so keep an eye out for those as well. Traditionally the put-in is around Dairy Queen and the takeout is around Smith’s. Tube’s can be purchased at the Sinclair station (400S Highway 89) or can be rented from Jackson Hole Whitewater.
