some cool bridge work on the trail
Well new to me at least.
I recently got guide to show me the new as of last year, and finally completed “Kimmer’s Trail”. My guide was the trail designer and the driving force behind the majority of singletrack in the stowe area, Hardy Avery. Jon Severinghouse aka the Vice President of the Stowe Mountain Bike club joined as well. After an hour long slog up to Kimmer’s from Trapp Family Lodge via the Haul Road. I got to drop in following Jon on what is a very sweet build. The trail has something for everyone. A strong intermediate will be able to ride most of it and finish with a smile on his or her face. An advance rider will find a places to pick up some new skill, namely corning and pumping. An expert rider will love the flow that the constant up and down, side to side nature of the trail provides, and the guys who are gods on bikes(like the very humble Hardy) will find interesting doubles all the ways down. The trail plain rips.
I normally do not do uneditted POV, but think of it more as documentary with some stoke. I am documenting a pretty sweet trail.
